Wellbeing workshops connecting with creativity and the natural world
Supported by funding from
Creativity and the natural world have been show to be beneficial for health and wellbeing. These workshops aim to provide longer opportunities for engagement with creativity, the natural world and wellbeing reflecting the seasons and complimentary themes.
Held at Flordon Community Centre, each workshop will include a breathing meditation, a mindful walk and creative processes that focus on natural, sustainable or recycled materials. Film, music and poetry will also be used for reflection and inspiration.
Numbers are limited to ensure all have access to support, if wanted, and provide a comfortable, relaxing environment. They work on a ‘pay what you can’ model to try and remove barriers for access.
